Profile Information

What textiles are you interested in?
I love all things fabric, quilting, crazy quilting, long arm quilting. I want to learn spinning, felting, thread painting and more.
Where did you learn your textile skills?
It began in 7th grade, sewing has always been a part of my life. I began quilting 6 years ago and Cq 4 years ago. I am self taught, using books and online sources as my guide, as well as the wonderful eye candy of other artist.
Let us know you are not a spam bot. Is there anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group?
The best artist is God, I love to see His handy work in nature. Art has always been an interest of mine, so I have dabbled in many aspect of the field. I hope to pass this passion on to my grand children.

My current works include quilting, crazy quilting, long arm quilting, soap making, gardening and herbs.

Hee hee, Gail. You could always buy my book! (Details on my blog), but seriously, your local dealer can probably arrange a trial for you. Sherwood Forest is an interesting colourway, it goes with so many things. In fact, I have to dye more tomorrow, lol. Glad to have you as a friend

Thanks so much, Gail! Do you know it is not only the ones without family, but ones with family? I cannot imagine it myself, but people take their parents to the nursing home and abandon them there! One lady came in last month with alzheimers, her daughter left her there with only the clothes on her back! I feel any thing I can do to help!
I am glad that you are now getting the hang of the site! I am just enjoying it! I am able to see lots and lots of very talented people!
