Profile Information

What textiles are you interested in?
All things fabric and sewing, including quilting and my focus of 2012 Crazy Quilting; I also do yarn, embroidery, paper -- hey, it's a textile! -- and hard crafts, too, such as jewelry making.
Where did you learn your textile skills?
Started sewing in school home ec classes, taught myself to do crewel embroidery at 11 or so, taught myself to crochet in high school, learned to knit at age 8, picked up cross stitch in my 20s, and learned to tat just recently!
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
I do love all things textile, and tend to buy a bit more than I can possibly accomplish. Therefore, I have dubbed myself a "textile collector." :)

Hello Gail.  i am delighted that you have asked me to be your friend.  The Chain Stitch in the garden is a new adaptation of Detached Chain Stitch.  Chain Stitch is such a wonderful and versatile stitch and has many possibilities.   www.annbernard to see more and know how the flowers were made.  Best wishes,  Ann B.
