Where did you learn your textle skills?
From my Mother and Grandmother in the early days but in later years built up my experiences with design applications, experimenting with different fabrics and threads and creating my own designs. As my Grandmother helped by my Mother also ran a Soft Furnishing business I was taught much of dress making and soft furnishings followed by eventually owning my own Soft Furnishing business.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
I started my career in Graphic Design and enjoy watercolour painting as well.
I reproduce fellow artists' art work as prints as well as cards.
Flying is another art I enjoy as and when cash and weather permit.

Frances, do you have any idee where we can buy that other silk?
or is there a converter table or something like that?
And how do you do it, if you want tot stitch something from that book, with the colors?
Frances, I have a question,
I have a book, and by the patterns are numbers for the thread color. But it are different numbers than the numbers from the one I bought by Magaret.
Can you tell my if there is a key to converter that??
