- I've been doing some form of art all my life as far back as I can remember. First making doll clothes from Mother's feed sacks. Later gravitating to embroidery, crochet, knitting and making of all the clothing I could make for my family and Mother. My embroidery then exploded into crewel, counted cross-stitch, Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery and the embellishment of crazy quilting.
I now have included quilting in that long list of needlecraft projects, both pieced and appliqued.

- Miss you too,Jackie. Glad DH is doing much better. Surgeries and hospital stays do havoc to life. Just glad he is on the mend.

- thank you, I seem to jump in head over heals when I see something I like.
Also, I appliqued most of th blocks while attending classes for Advanced Electronics and Computers after I turned 63.

These dolls here were made for Pat Winter's Comfort Doll project. Pat collects them from everywhere and sends them to women's shelters where they are handed out to the women. Just a way of spreading love to those in need. Pat is a member here if you want more details.
Don't you just love this place..... So many talented people. I could spend hours looking:-}
