Elaine, thank you for compliments on the pot-pourri. I'll have to make two more of these and that will be it for the year.

Hello Elaine  Thank you for your reply. I am delighted to be asked to be your friend and thank you for your reply to my question.  I will continue to try to resolve this problem.  It is largely caused by lack of computer knowledge.

Have a great day,   Ann B.

Hello Elaine,

Thank you for the friend invite.

Being a drawn-and pulled-thread addict, I admire your work, being totally unable to do anything, even remotely similar!!!

Continue the good work!!

Thank you Elaine.  Knowing that you are 'really reading' my blog makes the doing of it worthwhile.  I have a question and hopefully, you will  have an answer.  I would like to get my Tutorials, such as Padded Satin Stitch, Coral Stitch and Stitching like a Surgeon onto Needlenthread tutorials list.  I cannot figure out how to do this.  Are you able to give me ahint, plus knowing that I am not particularly computer literate.  I am really frustrated in my efforts to do this.  Hopefully  Ann B.

Thanks Elaine, I'm glad you enjoyed looking at my stuff. I have done zentangles but mine are never as neat and intricate as some I have seen. Recently I've been enjoying doing digital art on my Galaxy Note. It's a good idea to keep a journal of ideas, I quite often forget the ideas I have. Hope you enjoy your weekend too. Linda

Thank you Elaine! It is so inspiring to know that someone is reading--and liking--my blog! I had almost zero expectations when I started. I just wanted to get a few things down on paper and share some things with family and friends. It has been a fun experiment so far.

I have to laugh about your own ripped jeans experience! I still can't imagine buying pre-ripped jeans!

Cheers & happy stitching!

Margo

Hello Elaine, the embroidery you commented is not my design, I do wish it was.

Elaine: I just published my new Brazilian embroidery blog post. I haven't done enough Brazilian lately, so my bullions and cast ons are less than perfect, but it will give you an idea of how the threads all work up. Cheers!

Color Confidence by Trisha Burr

I received this book over the week end and I am so delighted to have it. It makes  all those colors of dmc floss make sense. It sets out groups of DMC floss in groups of colors. I have been reading for two days and just can't put it down. For anyone who is unsure about color when it comes  embroidery this really brings it all together.I hope this info is good for someone out there in the stitching world Hugs To all Elaine

I just discovered I very useful product for embroidery. It is a pen with ink that is removed by the heat of the iron. It works great you can draw on the fabric and the iron it away. It is called Frixion  ball pen by pilot. Just want to let everyone know because this is wonderful. Hugs to everyone. Elaine
