- Needle Turn Applique, Crazy Quilting, Embroidery,
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- Over the years I have attended a few night school craft classes. I mostly just teach myself experimenting to find the best way to suit what i'm doing or learn from books.
- Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
- My working life was spent as a sewing machinist, these days I prefer to do hand work and enjoy having a go at new techniques.

Bernadette said… Thank you Doreen for the lovely comment. Since I am just beginning to work with this medium it is great to have such skilled eyes on my progress. I am just so happy once that little needle is doing it's work:) I have however put a generous hole in my middle finger. So and I can truly say the last project came with great pains. I think I might need to learn more about the ground fabric used in needlepainting.
