Hey Diane! I just want to let you know I think you're doing a fabulous job on the details! I can't wait to see your block. I'm trying to finish my Tea Therapy pillow so many of the details don't work for right now...I'm saving them for the future and hope to get some stitched when this project is over! Just wanted you to know I really appreciate your beautiful work!
Hi Diane, You are so right about the dusting and all other housework ... sometimes stitching must be the priority, although right now for me it is gardening in the day and stitching in the evening if I'm not too tired. If you are interested in the doll project I'd look at Pat Winter's website http://www.comfortdolls.blogspot.com/
you will find lots of links to simple dolls one of the easiest is the Dotee Doll and you can see some of those in this groups photos. Good luck! it's a great project and the little dolls are addictive. Sherry
Hi Diane,
I enjoyed checking out your blog. I've been following your progress on the 100 details. Your cakes and stitching are impressive and lovely. I'm a fellow Canadian from the Vancouver area, though now live in the USA. Love that there people here from all over the world. How amazing. Sherry
Hi Diane,
I checked out your blog and your stitching is exquisite. I also loved all the super looking cakes on there too. Know I want to bake a cake, silly me, but oh well.
Hi Diane,
I have been trying to find a place to write to you as I loved the comment you left on my blog. The thread you liked is hand dyed silk (2/20) by Ken Smith. He calls them silkies and the one you like is black opal. They are available from the Thread Studio.
