Profile Information

What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
Machine embroidery. 3 dimentional work. All experimental work.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
I've been a Textile Art teacher in England, where I'm from, in West africa for 2 years, United world college, Singapore for 5 years, at Vienna International school in Austria for 17 years. I've now retired and live for some of the time in Paris and some in UK.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
Textiles are still a passion and I belong to several groups in France.I love trying new stuff and most of my days have something to do with getting multi-coloured hands.

Diana, do you know of anyone in the Ardeche region, (or in Paris as I'm sometimes in residence there) who teaches crewel embroidery? I've heard of Phillippa Turnbull in England, but looks like she doesn't come over to France for seminars.

Hello Diana, thanks a lot for your invitation. I will accept with great pleasure, as soon as I'm back to Paris (north), by the end of december /mid january... but at the moment, I'm far away in Sao-Tome & Principe !
