"Yes, pretty good eh Grace?! Funny thing is, I wasn't looking for videos on that - but had done a search for memory crazy quilt making tutorials because I opened my gob and told two fellow widow friends I would do one for each of them. I've…"
"While hanging around in YouTube I came across this short video from craftycomputerpaper.co.uk. Grace had mentioned, in this thread how much she likes this company's print on sheets. They don't demonstrate HOW to do it, but they show how to…"
"Beautiful, Susan!! I am just learning embroidery and SRE but I really do have a soft spot for the SRE. Your work is wrought so prettily! Thank you for sharing. If it wasn't 2:30 in the morning I think I'd be sitting down trying to do those…"
"Thanks ladies, I really appreciate your input. My cousin sent me a nice old photo of the sisters who made it and even tho I didn't know them personally, I feel like I do. They were Pennsylvania Dutch and two of the sisters had moved to my own…"
"You are right. It is a beautiful keepsake and you know the history. As Sharon said about using it for inspiration you could make your own and enjoy the journey of stitching it. Then you could compare then and now."
"I am with you on this one as I would really not like to touch a quilt that was so old and you know the story of. It is a nice quilt top as it is and many crazy quilts only embellished the seams. I would back it to protect it but not imprint any on…"
