Threadneedle Street in Issaquah, Washington, USA has a good supply of gold, silver and copper threads. You can check out their website and/or call them. http://www.threadneedlestreet.com/
enjoy the RSN - I took classes in Perry when they came here. The come to California now and I need to try to get to a class. Advice -- ask all the questions you can. Don't presume. They have lots of helpful hints.
I'm glad you like my dolls. I'll take all the encouragement I can get! LOL!
We lived in Yakima for something like 20 years, so I've been in and through E-burg many times. My husband grew up on the Kitsap Peninsula and we lived there for awhile as well - Silverdale, Bremerton, Poulsbo. That was before the big malls and all - it's way different now!
Well, everything is different now I guess. I grew up in Topeka, KS, and my family is still there. We now live in Jackson County - about 50 miles north of Topeka - so I can visit my Mom and hubby doesn't have to! He likes the country and I'll have to say it is growing on me.
The nice thing about embroidery and dolls and such is that it doesn't matter where you are. You can enjoy your "calling" and meet others with similar interests everywhere in the world! And the internet just brings it all closer. Cool!
Welcome to Stitchin' Fingers, Denise. I am interested to see you live in Washington and your parents came from Kansas. I am originally from Kansas and just recently moved back, but I consider myself a Washingtonian. I've lived on both the west and east sides of the Cascades. What part are you in? BTW, your stay in England sounds fascinating!
