About a week ago, some of us in Europe were to meet up with Dee at the Festival of quilts. But we learned on the 12th August, that she had passed away. You may have know about her fight with cancer. On her blog, http://crazyworldvandita.skynetblogs.be/ the family has written the information, and that the funeral was on the 16th. (it is in Dutch, you may have to use Babelfish or another translator to work it out.)

I do hope this message is not too disturbing for you. As you can tell from her plans, she sought to life to the full to the end.
