"Name the stitch please... how about: "Deepaloop"... or the "Loop-a-Lovely" or give it an asian name... that we all hve to learn... can't wait to find out what its called and see your diagrams or vid as to how its made…"
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
Thank, Deepa for your kind comments. Glad to hear you are learning to do Schwalm. What fabric and threads are you using? Do post pictures of your work in progress. Like your kamal kadai. I have a sari ready to be embroidered and I think I will use that stitch, although, saris can get very monotonous to stitch, I will have to pick it up sometime.
Thank you Deepa for your kind comments on my June needlecase. I love your colourful pieces, and will take time to view them all. This place is so huge, one can't see everything in a hurry. Happy stitching to you.
Thank you Deepa. Your work inspires me! It is so textural, colorful and beautiful. I have a photo I want to send you of a cabinet in my kitchen that came from India, full of painted sunflowers which look like your stitched sunflowers! I was so delighted to see the similarity!
thanks Deepa!
Don't forget, taht I am a reader of your blog (wel: when I am at home, become, I was absent during 15 days..........) and I have very hard work to organize my future life after the next 1° september (change of work...;;;)
I like your sunflowers!
