Hi, I am getting ready to work on a set of dish towels for my daughter's birthday this summer. It wil probably take me that long to do them. I will take pictures when done and post them. I love seeing what other people do. It inspires me to get busy…

Hi DeeDee, I just acknowledged your compliment on my tea towel on the Vintage Transfers group forum , and decided to hop over and visit Your Page. It sounds like you are very talented, with all those craft hobbies on your list. I also have arthritis in my hands (so far it is not very bad), and my doctor has advised me to keep stitching, as it will keep my hands supple. She didn't tell me how much they would ache after an hour or so of stitching, though!
Do you have any photos of your finished work? I love to see what other people do. I gather you don't have a blog?

Hi Deedee, welcome to Stitchin fingers. Do you have any favourite embroidery techniques. We have groups to cover many of the best know techniques, feel free to join any that interest you. You can see all the groups listed under Groups (2 pages, so click on the [2] at the bottom of the first page to view them all). Click on the groups icon to go to it's home page and there you will see a "Join this group" button. You don't have to join groups but it is the best way to meet other stitchers who share your interests.

Have fun, CA
