- What textiles are you interested in?
- Embroidery, felting, making my own clothes, knitting, weaving using small hand held looms and rigid heddle, oh anything that involves fibre or fabric; better still fibre and fabric in all their guises:0)
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- From my Mum, from books, from trying and failing and trying again. Hope to follow some on line courses in coming days but am thankful for tutorials on YouTube and the generosity of other textile people in their sharing.
- Let us know you are not a spam bot. Is there anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group?
- I have found and still do that my textile 'adventures' are means not only of enjoying the activity and producing something to give to others or clothe my back but that using needle and thread gives me space in mind and heart to listen in stillness even whilst wrestling with a particular stitch, bead or snake like tape measure. Also I have yet to meet anyone who stitches who isn't an interesting, enquiring human being which is gift indeed.

8. Do not post demeaning comments or flame Newbies who make a faux pas - be friendly. Don't post the same thing multiple times.
9. Swaps, round robbins, stitch a longs and challenges are organized through groups. Ideally leaders would have experience with these activities. Swappers take responsibility for their own Exchanges. I, Sharon Boggon DO NOT take responsibility for swaps round robbins etc that get lost, go wrong, or dont work out as expected.
10. Abbreviations, colloquialisms and slang are difficult for anyone who has English as their second language. So please avoid them.
