- What textiles are you interested in?
- I have become addicted to crazy quilting because I can incorporate embroidery, beading, ribbon work, tatting and almost any other form of handwork I'm in the mood for. I also love that there are no rules and endless possibilities!
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- I have picked skills up along my way through life. I had an interest in stitching and art at a young age. I have a natural curiosity to learn new techniques and love texture and color.
- Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
- Although I have tried a multitude of crafts, my favorite mediums to create in are watercolors, beading and crazy quilting (inclusive but not exclusive). I also love organizing and sorting art/craft supplies. God comes first in my life followed closely by family.

Hi Connie, thank you so much for taking the time to look at my Japanese Phase IX piece and leaving a kind comment. I've been away from SF for a while, so that I could finish my Phase IX in time to register for the annual Phase X class in Atlanta, GA. (a big deal!) In spite of my best efforts, I missed the deadline by 1 week, which was very disappointing (I cried). Nonetheless, now it is completed and behind me and I have been accepted for the 2013 class one year from now. Now that the pressure is off, I'm hoping to stop in on SF from time to time to see what's up. So much creative and beautiful stuff being posted on SF. I simply cannot take the time to comment on everything I'd like to, but I still like to look and become inspired/motivated. While I'm here on your page I will catch up on what you have been doing these past 4 months.

Thank you, I am still trying to figure out how to best use this site, but I must say I am humbled by the beautiful and amazing work that the members have created here and I have only seen a little so far! Sharon's WIP is really helping me to move forward on this piece!

My grandmother was a craftsperson and in her 90's I remember her saying that there would never be enough years for her to learn everything she still wanted to do. Things don't change. It is a good thing we enjoy the process!
Hello Connie, thank you for your comments on my drawn thread work. The sampler is worked on even-weave linen (36 threads to the inch). I haven't run out of pattern ideas yet. Like crazy patch work there are always more options to try. I do love crazy patchwork by the way, your work is beautiful!
