Profile Information
- What textiles are you interested in?
- I'm interested in Quilts. I started quilt making about 10 years ago. At the beginning I made mainly traditionell quilts. Now I work more "modern". Especially I like to play around with possibilities to change the surface of fabrics. Here my passion for stitching began. I like to embroider fabric by hand and also by machine.
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- I took part in several workshops/lessons. Cherilyn Martin, Elsbeth Nusser-Lampe, Esther Bornemisza, Els van Baarle are the teachers I admire very much. Last year I took my first on-line lessons in free stitching with Anne Lange (Germany)
- Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
- I'm sorry, my English is far away from beeing perfect. I.m looking forward contacting others, learn from them and share my works with them.

Thank you for your nice comments on my TAST-piece. Check out my Algerian Eyelet dog over on my page! I really loved this TAST-stitch. Although it was a bit of a challenge to stitch a dog with it!

Thank you for your comment on my Cable Chain piece. To place the beads evenly I 'cheated' and used a ruler to measure each stitch. I'm not good at eyeing it and often use pen and ruler. There is still much to master...
