Love your style of page here. That T-shirt with the tabs is really cute.
Your blog isn't listed here to go to. Did you know you can link your blog here and it will (usually) show up on the left side of the page?
Your picture show is super too. You are a busy lady!

Oh Cheryl! I am really tempted to do Tony Minieri's kimono as well. I have to resist the temptation, at least for the time being. Currently I am do the pre for a Japanese Embroidery course next week (very exciting). The follow week I have a week long course for work (not nearly so exciting) and soon I will be starting Phase II of Japanese beading. I think that is enough for the time being.
Hey Cheryl! Yeah, I am so disorganized it's not funny. We should have set something up. Good news is Val IS putting together another retreat and JBM will be there! I was in the room when they were discussing it. :) Gonna be same time next year, in November.
What's Paducah?
Hi Cheryl!
I looked for you in Betty Pillsbury's class Friday but no one seemed to know who I was looking for. I got too busy on Saturday to look for you. Sorry I missed you. How was your class? Mine with Judith Montano was very enjoyable. Still trying to finish what I started, though!
Thanks for your comments about the traditional Japanese embroidery piece, 'Camellias'. It took me 5 years to complete as I worked and finished other pieces and would return to it from time to time. I prefer counted work so surface embroidery like this is quite challenging for me to stitch well. I enjoy Hardanger, blackwork, bargello, cross-stitch, canvas work and samplers, using the counted piece to relax at the end of a busy working day. I haven't tried any quilting yet. I love looking and admiring finished quilted pieces and attend quilting shows to admire the finished works.
Hi Cheryl! I love the photos of your work and your blog. It is nice to see Nova completed--it is really quite pretty--I have it, but have not yet started to stitch it. Too many other projects to finish first!

Hi Cheryl, thank you for your lovely comments on my wall. I enjoy many types of embroidery but since I began to learn 3 years ago, Japanese embroidery is my first love. The fan, Suehiro, was sheer joy to stitch and is a favourite of mine.
