I may have to go home and sketch up some possibilities for the November Theme trading cards. I'm trying to think up something appropriate.
My blog is very out of date, and so far there are no ATCs in the blog. I'm afraid it might be wasted space in…
all, I Tat, Locker hook, Sane Quilt, Needlepoint, Counted Cross Stitch, Embroidery, Crewel Embroidery, Plastic Canvas, Sew, Crochet, Thread Crochet, and Knit. I haven't tried weaving yet, and I've often thought I'd love to learn how to spin. I really don't need any more hobbies though, but I'll probably find them anyway.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
I am self taught mostly. My mom taught me basic embroidery and how to sew clothing. We learned to quilt together. My grandmother gave me my first yarn and knitting needles, and I recently inherited my great aunt's collection of books and leftover stash, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and tatting shuttles.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
I am a process person. I love to work with new techniques and new colours, but I have trouble finishing up projects. I almost always go back and work on them, but I have way way way to many WISPs and UFOs.
I also love to read and game. I read in most genres, and love movies in most genres. I do tabletop gaming (Dungeons & Dragons), Playstation 2, and a few PC games.
Hi Catherine,
I'm to send you an Autumn ATC for the November ATC Group swap. Can you please email your snail mail address to me at gandkwil@hotmail.com
Thanks!
