- patchwork and quilting including free machine embroidery and crazy patchwork
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- Group activities and workshops. I belong to a P&Q Group who meet together on Mondays and Thursday evenings and have demonstrations by individuals and outside tutors. We have recently had our annual dinner when we exchange handmade gifts.

Debra, thanks so much for starting this Group and feel sure it will be a confidence booster.
I began patchwork and quilting in 2004 and belong to a local group of wonderful ladies who are always generous in sharing their talents.

Hi Carol,I cant decide about 'TAST', whether to do a book or a sampler.......Probably a sampler so I can hang it somewhere ! I was thinking of embroidered shapes appliqued to an ornate background , ie leaves, circles, hearts etc? What do you think ? Have you come up with any ideas.......I'm doing a rather large crewel piece at the moment and its going so well ! My dearest hubby has just treated me to a book called ' Colour confidence in embroidery' by Trish Burr and it is truly wonderful! She gives you hundreds of colour combinations and all the DMC numbers.....I'm gobsmacked by this book !
