"I went by and I love the quilt block as well as I love the crazy quilt block on your barn. That is so cool. I want one on my house. I have a huge wall on one side of my house and all it has is one small window. So I would love to try this. Thank you…"
All aspects of textiles fascinate me. Crazy quilts, needle lace, pulled thread, hardanger, hedebo, silk and metal, or nue, Brazilian, silk ribbon, drawn thread, stumpwork, lace making, etc. If it is done with needle and thread, count me in.
Where did you learn your textile skills?
I'm self taught.
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
OHMYGOD, grandkids :)! They were so little last time I saw them. I'm sticking with cats :). Calontir continures, had Jubilee celebration in Feb. Would love to go to Wichita but a show I am costuming opens that weekend. Will check for other dates on blog. Ta for now :)!
Hi Donna, I just added the Paisley Notebook Sampler pic. The other beaded and sequined paisley is a purse I made. I also made it on a diamond piece to go into a crazy diamonds quilt I am working on. Can't wait to see you in Wichita.
Betty, I was watching your pictures go by in a slideshow and all of a sudden was a beautiful beaded and sequined paisley. Is this what we are doing in Wichita?! It was gorgeous. Now I am going to wait for it to come by again!
