Hi, I'm feeling better

Hi everyoneThank heavens I'm feeling better at last.  I've lost so much time to my weird illness, which turns out not to have been 'serious' at all, and was merely an overdose.  But saying that, it was a pretty serious overdose, as overdoses go (I guess), because my hair was falling out.Still, its all back where it should be again and so is a lot more of my physical strength, you have no idea how relieved we all are that I'm back in the saddle. However, I wont be able to submit any blog posts on…See More

Good luck for your work.

Actually I work in an opac fabric to make my tambour hook embroidery and I love it.

I love the acorn, but also the bead Tudor rose; very lovely! Do you llike making small things as much as I do? I think small things are fun and so quick to do...

Hi Beth Lea,

I do hope you keep left handed videos too - must go and look . lol We need to keep teaching younger left handers how to different things too. I am so left handed there is no way I could do anything right handed.
Cheers
Wendy

Do you work outside the home? I ask because I was recently laid off, permanently. I was a purchasing agent, but it's not my profession. I did it for the last 5 years. I have a degree in Engineering Technology, in other words design. I have a great story -To fill in until I find another permanent job, my dog and I are companions to a 90 year old woman with the beginnings of dimensia. She's the mother of a friend. We visit her 2 afternoons a week. Recently she told me that she used to stitch, a long time ago. Of course, given her age, she worked on stamped embroidery kits. So last week I bought a table scarf stamped kit for her. We started it on Friday, together in her kitchen. I had tried crocheting with her a few weeks prior, but her mind couldn't retain the "instructions" long enough to complete a stitch. The embroidery went very well! She did stem stitch with a minute of instruction from me and she seemed really content to be embroidering. Embroidery as meditation!
