I spin my own yarns and threads too, and also use the fibres with the embellisher. I have a box of wool fibre and a huge pile of dyed silk caps to keep me happily embellishing over the winter. I've put a link to your blog on my own (rather new!) blogspot. Hopefully I'll get as bloggy as you soon! Chris.

At 8:19pm on 14 September 2008, Lauren Chong Sng said…: thanks to your output, beate, i'm hooked on machine felting! it has become addictive for me. i have found that bad projects can go into the machine and, with roving surrounding it, they emerge wonderously. i call my machine a 'waste transformer,' in the same way that you clean up your studio, put all the bits through the machine and, voila, out comes art. wow-ee! --lauren
