Dear Barbara
I have two dear friends in the UK that are tutors in Japanese Bead Embroidery if you should wish to try your hand at making a Peacock Handbag. Jean Julier (jeanjulier@aol.com) and Marion Howse (bagbeader@fsmail.net) Thank you for your comment, it is one of my favorite...

Profile Information

What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
All aspects interest and excite me, I particularly like experimenting with various materials and techniques
Where did you learn your textle skills?
Mainly by reading and experimenting. I started out by sewing and tailoring, taking in papercraft and card making.

Now I love to use beading, dry felting, fusion(carving and cutting fabrics with a soldering iron) and hand embroidery to further embellish the basic backgrounds I start my pieces with.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
Only that I look forward to further adventures and experiments with my stitching friends!
