Barbara glad you liked it. Yes I painted all the cards myself to get the right colours I wanted etc. It was fun. Good luck on making the 50 cards. People have been asking me to sell to them but so far have not ventured that far as time is limited ...
MIne arrived yesterday - That's a week to get from the UK to Australia and part of that was a weekend! What a task it must have been, cutting out all those leaves? Thanks Jane!

Thank you for your comments. It takes me about 5/6 hours to make one thimble.
They are quite popular in Japan now and it is possible to get instructions,but they are in Japanese! You could try www.temarikai.com; look for "thingsjapanese" on the top tool bar ; then choose "yubinuki" where there are simple instructions in English.At present I do not actually sell them; I am building up a collection. - p.s thanks for the comments about my cards ....yes I agree about the monthly swaps they are a bit slow the person you have to send to will be posted soon on the group forum it should send you an e mail when someone has added any comments to the page ...don't worry it will all become clear .that is why I sort out my one to one swaps myself as I LOVE swapping I'm addicted.......by the way I am away for a few days and not sure if I will have any internet connection so don't worry if I don't reply straight away to you ....should be back online by Tuesday all the best Lorna
