stitching: embroidery, needlepoint, cross stitch, etc., weaving, crocheting, and knitting--although I'm an absolute beginning knitter
Where did you learn your textile skills?
My grandmother's stitching made me lust for thread, fiber and fabric, but I learned my skills in fiber arts at Arizona State University.
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
A few years ago, just as the first TAST was ending and Take It Further was beginning, I started my blog. Somewhere in between then and now, I discovered a passion for bookbinding, making books, collage, drawing, and painting in them, and my fiber explorations took a backseat. I'm feeling incomplete without the slow, steady work with fiber and fabric, and I'm eager and ready to get back to it.
