- What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
- very interested in using texture and color in mixed media or just fabric work. Art quilts, textured embroidered cuffs, stumpwork, beading and other embellishments that catch my eye and fancy to be used in traditional and not so traditional ways.
- Where did you learn your textle skills?
- Started with my mother when I was a child and has been self taught over the years.
- Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
- Interested in learning more and stretching my skills and creative vision

Averyclaire said… - Thank you for the compliment on my hawaiian square. Actually it is a block which is only 21 inches square. I had planned on putting three across and three down...nine blocks. I have a pieced sashing planned using all the fabrics from the various blocks....and a wide border. I want the quilt to be large. The blocks are manageable and I do them while riding in the car with my husband. I love this type of applique. Thanks again.
