I like all type of embroidery especially crazyquilting, and all kind of needle work. I'm more interested in traditional techniques.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
I started with Francine Leclercq, an embroidery teacher. Then in classes with Irène Rouveure, Simone l'Homme, SharonB and at The Royal School of needlework. I keep going to classes.

Hi anne thanks for your comment .I made 6 garments based on an Indian theme everything was knitted from trousers to tops to scarves to headresses !! It took me hours and hours the pictures were illustrations of the garments it was a quirky way to illustrate them. Everything was really sparkly and golds and silvers.and then I got First for my degree so it was all worth it ......Phew !!
Happy stitching
Lorna
Hi Anne, Thank you so much for your kind comments on my work. Just visited your sites and your gallery as well as craftsmanship and design are stunning!
To answer your question about the thread, it´s Pima knitting thread normally used to knit summer tops but I thought it would give a nice "dry" look to the embroidery
Merci beaucoup a nouveau!
