I enjoyed visiting your website where it is easier to appreciate the detail in these gorgeous pieces. :)

Glad you have her home safely once more, and so pleased to hear she enjoyed her adventure. So sorry our paths didn't cross at K&S on Thursday, but I also had a great time and returned with some of the same or similar purchases... Must manage some housework and some playing with them this week.

Re photos: Oh that was a shame. I don't suppose it will happen again for a while!
Yes I've been to Cadbury Garden Centre! Small world. Good place to go on a rainy afternoon like today. I went to school at Gordano Comp in Portishead (we lived in St Mary's Road) and then did a stint at the technical college in Weston, but didn't last more than a month. When I got married we moved to Reading, but then back to Nailsea within a couple of years. My parents lived in Silver Street, and we had a house in Friendship Grove at the end of the village. My children were both born there before we moved up to the Midlands. They've both left home now and we're empty nesters apart from the dog who is a bit of a tie as he's 14 years old and not up to boarding kennels any more. Still at least I have space to expand now, and can indulge myself with the time and space I need to do this textile m'larky.

My goodness, you were local! Ever been to Cadbury Garden Centre? I've some fabrics from Dijanne, too. They are scrummy. But I enjoy playing with dyes and have been experimenting with rust dyeing recently.
I've got 2 and a half children still at home (the half is at uni) and they take up too much time and space for optimal creativity. I'm trying to wrest the house back now they are back in school (the two, the half is on a course in London) so I've got room for some felting and stitching.
We were on holiday in North Wales when the pier burnt down. We were there last Saturday and I took many excellent photographs, only to discover when I went to download them that the memory card was still in the puter. Doh!

Where in Somerset did you live? I live in Congresbury, and we often go to Clevedon or Weston to get a marine fix, even if it's cheating there, really.
