Anna Maria Salehar said… Hi Louise, A kind friend brought me back a small needlepainting from Vietnam of a country scene. They are very skilled stitchers! Enjoy your collection!
Louise Desmarais said… Hi Anna Maria,
I am back from a trip to Vietnam. I bought some embroidery painting over there. They are wonderful artwork. I went to see your website and you are very good at what you do. Painting portraits must the hardest thing to do.
Nancy Larsen said… Thank you, Anna Maria. I look forward to getting better acquainted with your work and to learning from you.
Awesome Work! Happy Stitching!
faith said… Thankyou so much Im really excited to have a go with this but first will start small just like you said. I did something simular on butterflies so maybe that was a little start. How many hours do you stitch a day and do you have to have a break then go back to it?
thanks

faith said… Im in awe of your work, did you stitch cotton material backed with interfacing or some sort of stabiliser? I remember going to a crystal fayre a few years ago in Barnsley. yorkshire and there were some little work units at the back.
There were some ladies there doing free hand embroidery just doing random cross stitches, just like painting of material really but with coloured threads. What computer did you use and what sort of programme to enlarge into the photo, Did you use a wireless laptop to zoom in. Sorry for all the questions but you are inspiring me with your magic and I fancy having a go at this method.
Maybe the postcard project in this type of stitching could be the beginningx
