Your stitching is lovely, Anna. I am most impressed with your one-point open space between the petals. I still struggle to get the correct but you have got it straight away, well done.

Hello Anna,
I try to match the colours from JEC silks when working on private practise projects.
I bought the JEC silk swatch from Atlanta, expensive but it allows me to decide on my colour schemes for future projects, I believe JEC silks are a better buy. There are other silks aailable but I was told the colours are not as vibrant.

Hello Anna,
I have a book with designs and silk numbers, they do not match the silk numbers we get from Margaret as you have realised. I expect there are other suppliers of silks in Japan, hence the variable numbers.

Hi Anna,
I saw your comment on Jennifer's page. I hope that you will be able to make it to Bournemouth in March, it would be lovely to meet you.

As for your Japanese text book, usually the illustrations are very good, but there is no need for you to rely on your imagination, there are plenty of Japanese embroiderer's here that you can ask for advice. Have you joined the Japanese Embroidery group? If you need any assistance, let the JE grooup know and we will do our best to help you.

Hi Anna,
Have you managed to do any more to your embroidery? Are you learning Japanese. It is nice to have more books on Japanese embroidery. I have enough trouble reading and understanding English let alone trying to understand the text in japanese.
Will we see you next year?? Hope so.
Keep sewing
Jennifer

Hi Anna, your English is perfecly good enough for me to understand. I am glad that you enjoyed it. It would be lovely if you could find a way to join us in March. There is always the ferry or the tunnel :) I have been to Amsterdam many times as my Sister-in-law lives there. We have travelled all ways and I prefer anything to the ferry! Have you done any more stitching since arriving home?
