Hi Anna, I really love your sheep and your fish! I am new to the Stitchin Fingers site and am enjoying going back to see what I missed last year. Your work is a treat.

Many thanks for your welcome - sorry I have been off the air, but hopefully as I am nearly unpacked into our new house after having most of my life in storage for 31/2 years I will get back to my "unfinished symphonies" and complete some patchwork projects. Have been knitting alot in the last few weeks though - suffering from craft withdrawl. Cheers Janine

Hi Anna,
The Hapsburg Lace is by Tanja Berlin of Berlin Embroidery -

Tanja is very clever, the instructions were excellent and very easy to follow. I wanted a lacey effect on canvas and began to look around. When I first got the instructions I was overwhelmed by how big the document was and it seemed too complex. Yet when I sat down to work the sampler I found the instructions were very easy to follow.

Hi Anna - I'm thinking you won't remember this - but awaaaay back in early August you wondered if there was a full-size photo of my quilt, "For Joel - Globetrotter Extraodinaire". Anyway, my son - who can take good photos unlike his Mum - was home a wee while ago and so, finally, I've got a full-size photo of this quilt! I'm so touched that you were interested! Cheers! P.S. I keep hearing you ladies from "down under" mentioning the cold weather - it is so hot here that we stay indoors by the air conditioning and sit and stitch. Summer in Texas is awful!

I think I saw your sheep at the Wellington Work Day. Going to Horowhenua Work Day this weekend, and then Masterton Work Day in two weeks. look forward to meeting you. :)

These cold days are so good for sitting in front of the fire stitching, its great!
