Thank you for noticing my bobbin lace. I find it both a challenge and very soothing to work. The particular piece you noticed is probably the most complex that I've worked, since it has all the kinds of raised work found in Honiton bobbin lace. I enjoy both working my own designs and working designs by other people. My embroidery is different: I work only my own designs.
Thank you so much! I think I might just do that! I also like the way you intergrated photo-transfer work into your quilt. May I add you as a friend. I am brand new to the site.
Allie: your work is just breathtaking. It's so wonderful to see work that is so beautifully designed. I love how you work with colors and blend them so that there's such a natural flow. Thanks for sharing your work. I love your blog, too. Debby

I was a quilter for years, making bed and wall quilts, using the techniques of traditional piecing, Broderie Perse, stained glass, and landscape collage...then I discovered crazy quilting and have been hard at that, with its attendant forays into beading and embroidering, for ten years now. The latest addition to my fiber world is an embellisher (machine felter).
