My blog is http://knittingdivine.blogspot.com/
I'm mainly into lace knitting, crazy quilting and art quilts. I also dabble in other textiles and fibreart such as felting and crochet.
I'm now back to blogging regularly. I've recently become serio...
What beautiful work!! We love the same colours, it seems :) I don't really have advice regarding selling work as I haven't tried selling any of my pieces yet. However, I do have an idea:
I see from your profile that you're in Wales. I'm in Canada...
How wonderful that you were given this invitation!! I saw the other photos on your blog - what a beautiful place.
I hope you're able to able to create a chapter in Berlin, best of luck! :)
AnnieB - wow, those backs are incredible! I'm not sure my stitching will ever be that precise, LOL.

I've dabbled in various fibrearts for years. Quilting, knitting, crochet, crazy quilting, felting, fabric painting, etc. I just love fabric!
As much as I love my sewing machine, handwork is my passion. Lace knitting is something I never get tired of. I also love crazy quilting. All those lovely seams to embroider!! Hand applique and hand quilting are two things I adore, but they're very time consuming.
These days I'm on a real crazy quilting kick. Embroidery is very relaxing, beautiful and gives immediate results.
I love studying historical aspects of textiles, however my taste definitely leans towards the modern.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
I learned to crochet as a kid, but I got tired of making plain cotton doilies. I took a quilting class locally and that started my fabric obsession!! I then worked at a quilting and knitting shop - that was heaven! That's also where I learned to knit.
