"Thank you Shelia, I have a basic Bernina (1008). I put rubber doorstops under it so that it tilts towards me a little. I use the darning foot mostly, then relax my shoulders and just gently move the fabric. I imagine the needle is a pencil and just…"

- What textiles are you interested in?
- I love all aspects of textiles!
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- Apparently I was trying to stitch as soon as I could hold a needle. I did O level Needlework at 16, a Btec Diploma in Fashion and Manufacture at 20 and then City and Guilds Certificate and Diploma just recently.
- Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
- I am a happy person and I love colour.

- where did you get your cyanotype fabric? am assuming this is the same as sun printing?
I have been wanting to experiment with this technique for a while now....and with the sun finally returning!
am going to US soon, so am sure I can find it there, but was wondering if there was somewhere over here? (in UK)
