Bobbin lace, cross stitch, mixed media arts, hand embroidery, quilting, crochet
Where did you learn your textle skills?
Cross-stitch and mixed media - "self-taught", boobin lace - beginner, attending classes, crochet - self-taught, embroidery - sister; quilting - have serious interest in combining hand embroidery, lace, etc for crazy quilts - haven't tried yet though
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
I unfortunately do not have a blog or website, or even an digital camera for that matter, but no less - I will try to be visual and articulate to this group.
Brain never sleeps.....
I am the youngest member of the Witwatersrand Emroidery Guild as well as the Witwatersrand Lace Guild.

Yes all is well I have been travelling in the wet English countryside. We went to Somerset for the weekend as our dog is in quarantine there. On the way we visited Bradford-on-Avon and Bath....not too well at the moment...too much good food......
Hi Abigail I met a man who works with the British foreign office while in Malawi, his tour in Malawi came to an end and so now we are in the UK...it is all very exciting and I am visiting places I only dreamed of before. I feel very lucky and blessed. You know I never new that there was an embroidery guild in South Africa, I started getting embroidery in a "big" way while in Malawi. As I did not have to work I spent my days doing all the arty things I dabbled in while working. What do you do when you aren't sewing or creating? Hurry up and get a blog it is easy and you can't imagine what a world it opens up for you. How did you hear about stitching fingers?
