I WANT TO LEARN BRAZILIAN STITCH..I HAVE SEEN SOME OF THEM. VERY BEAUTIFUL.
DOES ANYONE HAVE IT. PLEASE SHOW THE STEPS ASWELL.
D. Paula Banerji said… Alka, Stumpwork is not very difficult and everything that is required for it is available in Jamnagar. You basically need white or clear organza, 28 guage metal wire that is available at your local store that sells electrical fuses etc., DMC or Anchor floss, a hoop for stretching your fabrics, a very sharp pair of scissors and a big, sharp needle with a big eye on it for you wires to go through and of course ground fabric for the main body of your embroidery. There are lots of books on the subject as well. Good luck and hope to see some of your work on SF.
