Thank you everyone.  It has been great to see how everyone used the cretan stitch which I found to be quite a challenging one.  Nevertheless, I look forward to using it again and again in my embroidery.  Cheers.

Your circles are good Di, I life the effect of the stitching of the one on the right.  This has nice flowing lines.
