Whitetail Buck Pillow with Knitted Corded Edge

Whitetail Buck Pillow with Knitted Corded Edge

This pillow was the first design of my Needlepoint Knitting Wildlife series. The pattern includes several methods of color knitting techniques. The finishing details are accomplished with crochet, and duplicate stitches.

You made my day!!!  the needlepoint look is exactly what I have been trying to accomplish.  I am at present working on transposing these designs into real needlepoint pillow patterns.  Below is a sample of my latest.

Beautiful! At first I thought it was a machine embroidery pattern from emblibrary. It's so much nicer in knitted stitches. The texture, colors and composition are soooooo nice!!
