This has been on the frame for two years. I've working on it on and off but after I got to about 150 hours of stitching I stopped keeping count!

Comment by Jane on September 3, 2012 at 15:17 Hi Lydia, not sure, I don't know cretin stitch. We call the flax leaf effect in Japanese embroidery. There are two variaions, one give this honeycomb effect the other a flax leaf (surprise).
