Close up of box

This mix media piece was great to have a play. I decided to make a paper fabric- tearing and glueing pieces of old scrap booking paper to calico. I stencil sprayed and used embossing powders with stamps before coating with acrylic wax. I then had a surface to machine stitch with variegated threads. Read my stitchinfingers blog to see how the paper fabric was built up.
