"Walking away"
Machine appliqué, machine pieced border.
I was very ill for more than a year, and making this quilt was to work through my feelings about my mother-in-law taking care of my son when I couldn't. The quilt border symbolises the comfort they gave each other during a rough time.

It is therapeutic to make a quilt like this when one is recovering. Hope you are back to normal.
