Three for a Girl/Red Riding Hood

I drew up Three/Red without the wolf, because of the Root chakra(red) being about fears and feeling safe in the world. My own experience is that most of what we fear is self created in our minds. "something bad is going to happen." I decided years ago I needed to take responsibility for the way I was reacting to my environment. I wanted to be/feel sovereign. Recognizing that life is experience: "it will pass, I will grow, it will get easier", was the wisdom I adopted/accepted that I applied to my life whenever I felt I needed to find a new balance and serenity with myself. Also, I have nothing against wolves, and think they get as bad a wrap as crows as being the vermin of society. Another reason not to cast the wolf into the piece as a villain.

This is not only art that I like , your thoughts are truly like what a lot of people agree with but they are just not open enough to say it themselves. You can't be happy all the time and you can't be in trouble all the time, if fear gets the best of you, the best thought is : this situation will change again, good or bad, it will change. I think if you had brought in the wolf this time, he would be walking along side with the Red . Dancing with wolves, my favourite movie!
Apart from that, the way you made footpath is truly amazing!!

I wrapped peltax with a blue fabric, then I beaded over the whole thing with white beads. I had marked out the footprints, so that I could avoid beading them. I was hoping that the blue fabric would show from below and it would give it depth like a footprint in snow. It did all that, but more so, it just looked unfinished. I noticed that the beading in Red's apron I had used the same whites, so I used the darkest and smallest blues from it, and pulled those colors down the path. It worked out better than I would have thought. Thank you for your thoughts!

Your work is wonderful. I also agree with your "philosophy" on life. The world would be a worse place if not for the wolves, crows, sharks, tasmanian devils, etc. After all, they help to keep it clean.
