Oh dear... I still haven't made any bundles. India Flint's book is on the bedside table and that's as far as we get. These are all great.

I can't wait to get those bundles open.....trouble is the magic works so much better is you let them sit and cool down....I cook them down the paddock now and leave them there too cool.....I have left them for 5 days...that was a struggle. tried opening one each day.....string it out...once I opened the first one , I had to see the others, It is addictive....Like little gifts to myself. I'm lucky I have lots of eucalypts on my farm to try... Thinking that one will become a Journal cover...

Great work, Shaz!!

I love the idea of those little treasures waiting to surprise you!

The colours are lovely, it will be nice to  see what you do with them :)

Barbara

P.S.  The waiting must have been absolute torture!!

thank you for your comments ladies, it is so nice when you get feed back
Joanne and Sharon it is called eco print. I went to an India flint [http://prophet-of-bloom.blogspot.com/] workshop and learnt to use leaves and fabric to make colour, mostly by boiling it up with flowers and leaves. there are more photos on my blog shazz Mc textiles and tinctures. http://shazzmc.blogspot.com/
eucalyptus leaves are amazing, this one is called peppermint gum it is a dark green leaf....If you wrap it up tightly on wool or silk, then you boil it up ...gently and that is what you get....I love this colour and how the wool and silk thread comes up is great ....wish I could knit something with it.
