The Eye Of Horus

You can see the progress of making this on
www.nutbudquilter.blogspot.com.

I used really tiny mesh like canvas which is really small, stitching with a tent stitch using dmc, anchor and Stef Francis threads. This was a great excuse to dig into my thread boxes and an excuse to hunt round the car boot for ideas, beads, lovely old sewing cottons that have been found in one;s attic. So now Im a collector of beads too. I drew free hand the eye on this canvas and really loved working with variegated thread which you just cannot beat. I hope you will all enjoy looking at this eye as much as I enjoyed making this. So come stitchers be brave and take part in next months postcard swap have FUNx
