Thank you for your kind comments.

Many have asked about the foundation fabric and the length of the stitches.

The fabric is an ugly 'cotton crepe' used by tailors to give stability and shape to the inside of a suit.

I have used a ruler and pen to mark the length of the stitches and then added the beads.

A very pretty piece  -  such even stitching and matching the chain stitches to the pearls  -  felt ot hand made paper?  really enjoyed your work.
