I had no previous knowledge of the couching stitch. I confess that this is not easy! This is the second study, I used photoshop's extrude filter to create the effect I wanted.

Love it Luiz.  I have used the extrude filter quite a few times on my PSE8, with trees, but have to confess to never having given this a thought.
