Needlepoint vase

There’s a series of designs in my studio journal with wavy lines. I use this simple design to try different techniques for another bigger piece. I already finished an appliqué with this design. Here I used needlepoint stitches on a 25 count linen. The background is done in diamonds with DMC perle 5. The vase is filled with chevrons in a variegated Stef Francis perle 5. For the lines I used a gobelin filling with 4 threads of stranded DMC. The size is about 3,5 inch or 9 cm.

The stitching on this is great.  It is amazing how our design has developed.

You are very clever.  I'd like this on my wall.

Annet, you are so good in stitching, all those points and different stitches - and so many - how patient you are! A good and clear photo!
