With the exception of the blanket stitch edging & stitch name, this sampler page is done entirely in Drizzle Stitch, combined with hand-dyed wool felt and needlefelting.

Comment by luiz vaz on October 1, 2012 at 8:39 A lovely composition! Congratulations!
Thanks for the info Jeanne-Marie. I was thinking those needles used for needle tatting might work well. They are about 5" long. Your long needle made this stitch quite effective.
Comment by Jeanne-Marie Mellor on September 27, 2012 at 11:28 A Very Warm Thank You To Lakshmi, Latha, Doreen, Nicola, Elaine, Queenie, Connie Eyberg, Connie Kusevskis, Severine for all your very kind comments! To Connie Eyberg, I used a 3 inch needle to make the tree. I would have loved to have an even longer needle!

Love it! That background gives it such a surreal and mystical feeling. You must have a million loops on your drizzles! Did you use a really long needle?
