TAST: Detail of the bullion Roses on wool blanketing hot water bottle cover

Here are more detailed images of the roses on the "hottty" cover. I used 4 ply knitting wool and perle thread to create bullion rose decorations on this hot water bottle cover that I made from an old wool blanket to sell at the little shop down the road. I enjoy stitching with whatever I have to hand, rather than going out and buying lots of expensive threads. I find it quite satisfying to recycle and use bits and pieces to create beautiful items that people will love.
The project uses bullions, stem stitch and colonial knots.
