Sharon, it is about 4" tall and wide or maybe just a little more.  Not much, though.  It is really too small to use it for much other then a little change and keys or something.  Mostly I just keep it on a shelf.

How big is it -  australian take out containers are flat square boxes - the first photo in this blog post is of our take boxes (I had been using them for bead storage - hence the blog post)

Anyway how big is the box that you adapted as I am trying to visualise it
